Being an ally is more than being sympathetic toward those who are being discriminated against. It’s more than believing in the cause and for equality. Being and ally means you must be willing to act and to take action together with others in the pursuit of ending oppression.

With this, we must remember that we are all human, chances are, you will make mistakes. Accept criticism gracefully, learn and grow from it.

In this presentation we will become familiar with gender diversity historically, as well as presetn day gender diversity by learning about gender diverse indigenous peoples, the erasure of gender diverse people, pronouns, gender identity and gender expression, sex vs gender, gender dysphoria, intesex and social and medical transitions.

Invisible disabilities are extremely prevalent (10% of the population) and can range from learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical conditions that require no or sporadic use of assistive devices, and more. Due to the invisibility and covert nature of these conditions, those living with these experience a wide range of stigma, judgment, and reduced access to care. Join to learn about how to discuss these concerns and use compassion to fuel interactions with all individuals and performers.

It can be challenging to navigate, as a NSFW content creator, the difference between consumers being assertive and downright aggressive. We will discuss how to set boundaries personally and professionally; develop a plan to having an anti-bullying platform; and also educate consumers on appropriate ways to communicate with their favorite stars and not violate the Equality Act of 2010! That’s right, it is illegal to harass anyone at work, so let’s get into our rights and responsibilities at being civil behind the screen!
